Vintage Starrett #101A Transit Surveyors Level Leveling Instrument in Wood Box

Here is a vintage
Starrett #101A transit surveyors level leveling instrument in a wood box. It is in used/aged condition with signs of use and age related wear.  There is finish loss and surface rust.
It still has the level bubble. The box is also in used/aged condition with wear, stains, paint and a sliver a piece of wood missing.  There is no strap is broken off along with the clasp.  A screw was put in so it would hold the level in place but I assume it is missing some sort of rod.  It weighs 8 lbs
