Vintage MUNICIPAL INSTRUMENT CO Dipping Needle Circle Mining Compass in Case

Description

For sale is a very cool MUNCIPAL INSTRUMENT CO Dip Mining Compass in the Case.  Some of the paint is flakey and the COMPASS NEEDLE APPEARS TO BE LOCKED OR STUCK.  I tried to release it and have not had success.  I am not sure what the trick is but I am selling it as/is for parts or repair due to that issue.   Please examine photos to see exact condition of this neat old one.
