Vintage Ladies HUNTING RIDING EQUESTRIAN BREECHES, JODPHURS, well made AUTHENTIC

Description

These vintage riding pants are beautifully made. They feature button fly closure, pockets everywhere -some are hidden- quilting at the knees, 8 buttons on each leg, and even the buckles are beautiful (see close up photo). They have a heavy crease down the center and a full bottom. The piping at the bottom hem of each leg is a slightly different color to add extra dimension and style.
My first thought is that they are wool, but now I believe they are heavy duck cotton. It's a very nice material with a good "hand". The inside is also well made, and the only tag I found is a marking of C6928 (photo).
The measurements while laying flat are: 40.5" from waistband to bottom hem, 28" inseam, 14" waist. They have not been laundered and have a few faint spots on them.
They are from the estate of a wealthy, well-traveled woman from Carthage, Missouri.
