One of the most widespread theodolites in the USSR, which is an improved model of the TT-50 theodolite. Theodolite is of a closed design, all its critical parts and units are directly exposed to dust and moisture .The theodolite uses a telescope with internal focusing and a conical vertical axis. In the first models, the limb was a brass circle with a soldered nickel silver ring, on which graduations were applied; in later models, the limb and alidade were made of an aluminum alloy with a special electrochemical finish.
