    Description

    Interesting, very old Tuba, Tenorhorn or Bariton (?). I guess it is a trnorhorn  in Bb ? The bell reads "B   F,  V. Kacirek , C. Budejovice " BF stands for Bohland & Fuchs. Size of the horn is approx. 28,5 inch/72cm. The bell meassures approx. 10 1/4inch/26cm. The tubing from mouthpice to bell meassures aprox.274cm/ 109 inches. The valves are moving quite easy and fast. There are several bents and dents in bell and tubing.  It showes some soldey repaires which should be done again. (see photos) Only the main slide is  moveable.
