    Description

A RARE and perfectly beautiful Asian, porcelain bowl, hand-painted and marked with Japanese characters that may place this  "Gold Imari" style piece much earlier than the 1900's.  When held to the light there is a very slight firing line indicated, in the white area of the interior of the bowl, that is not able to be felt or seen without intense light (please observe photos carefully).
There are 3 similar landscapes painted, interspersed by floral medallions (photos show all 4 sides).  The rich colors are primarily cobalt blue and deep brick red, with fine, gold detailing throughout.  The center florals are magnificent in the center of bright white, as seen in photos.
The top lip of the bowl is 2 7/8" high, top diameter is 7 3/4", base diameter is 3 1/2" diameter.
Though this amazing piece is used ~ it's in perfect condition.
