Description

New 1-1/2" Hamamatsu R9420 Photomultiplier Tube. Great for building scintillation detectors, gamma spectroscopy quality detectors, Gamma Camera replacement, etc. The circuit board on the -20 tube was designed for GE/Gamma Camera use, however it is easily modified for more common applications.
I include complete and illustrated instructions for modifying the existing circuit board
, or simply clipping and adding a voltage divider to the PMT leads. (See my other listings for this nice PMT already modified).
The Hamamatsu R9420 PMT normally retails for hundreds of dollars, and very difficult to find new at this price. Get these now for a fraction of the new retail price. Please inquire about bulk quantity of this nice PMT.
