Hamamatsu
R166
is
a
side-on
photomultiplier tube. Among all the photomultiplier tubes in the market, R166's highly unique solar-blind response
renders
unique
applications in which only UV signals are registered while visible and infrared light is not.
This would enhance signal-to-noise ration making simple spectrometer design possible. R166 is configured as side-on PMT in a
28 mm UV transmitting packaging. An
11-
pin
socket is needed to complete the signal circuit
. It is in
excellent
used condition.
