The H6780 series modules are optical sensors with extremely high sensitivity, capable of detecting light levels 1/10000 as low as those detectable with semiconductor photodiodes. They incorporate an 8 mm diameter head-on photomultiplier tube, a high-voltage power supply circuit and a low noise amplifier.
An active voltage divider provides a faster settling time and lower ripple noise compared to the H5773 and H5783 series.
