    Description

This is a vintage tool made by well known engineering company W.&.L.E Gurley in N.Y., it may be an antique. Hard to find accessory for their surveyor's transits. This is a 12' mahogany rod  (marked in tenths of an inch), hinged to fold in the middle, with all edges encased in bronze.
The photos shown are outside and from around the greenhouse (showing our 10'+ corn!)
The Red & White sliding target is made of cast aluminum (with the Gurley name embossed on it). There is some paint loss on the red color, easily repaired, but we left this "as found". Because of its long nature, shipping will not cheap as it it is over 6'. This can be picked up here at no cost, but our Central Maine location makes this difficult. We have bubble wrapped this inside the box, and am sure it will arrive intact. Hard to find.
