A stunning 1831 proof capped bust dime graded PF 62 by ANACS. This gorgeous proof coin carries vibrant colorful toned surfaces throughout both the obverse and reverse. The toning is accurately shown in the photos provided when tilting this beautiful coin in the light. It looks nicer than the only PF 62 grade deemed by ANACS. This coin is stored in an old 1980's style ANACS small size holder. We believe it to be the LM 6 variety which holds a rarity level of 8.
This proof coin is very seldom offered in any condition. When doing some research on this unique coin we found that the PCGS coin facts estimates that only eight of these exist today in all grades. At the time of this listing, only one other certified proof half dime was available on all of Ebay. A rare coin that is seldom ever available on the coin market.
